We say

Apart from Rag’n’Bone Man, the rest of the Top 5 places on the BBC Sound Of 2017 poll this year were all occupied by hugely-talented women, with MOBO-award winning Nadia Rose being one of them. This ridiculously-catchy song is the first to come from her debut EP Highly Flammable, which also features Crank It, her hit collaboration with Kideko, which saw her appear on New Year’s Eve’s Top Of The Pops. Already sitting on Radio 1’s playlist, she’s been hotly tipped by key tastemakers for the year ahead with MTV, Vevo, TicketWeb and Sub TV in particular all singling her out for attention. It’s an historic week for her label too, as Relentless prepare to celebrate 18 years with a showcase night featuring Nadia, plus Professor Green, Tom Walker, Link Up TV and Brunelle at Notting Hill Arts Club in London this Wednesday night (January 11). This track combines grime, hip-hop, R&B and pure playground-chant pop into one frothy energy burst right for the off. Her cousin is Stormzy, and if the next 12 months pan out like the year he’s just had, her career will absolutely be on fire soon enough.
